~ Lent, fencing, stealing, and the Passion ~
Hey just got back from a late night run to Sheetz for some coffee with friends. Although none of us did end up getting real coffee...the frozen kind doesn't count. I got some chocolate pretzels....(sighs with pleasure) Anyway, some policeman asked to talk to my friend apparently someone told a sheetz worker that they had seen Becca shop lift. She hadn't, it was weird though.
I went to go see the Passion of Christ tonight also, but it was a couple of hours ago before dinner. It was awesome, wished they could've extended the last bit a little more. But it was so bloody. Satan was weird looking and creepy. I like how he was kind of unisex. I cried when it showed Mary rushing to help grownup Jesus up and had a flash back when he was a little child that had fallen and scraped his knee. It was heart wrenching. My friend, Ginny, cried the entire movie. Mel Gibson Rocks!
Well this year I decided to do Lent. I know, its weird. You're supposed to give something up for 40 days. So I have given up cookies for 40 days. I'm not catholic or anything but a couple people in the Graphic design major are doing it. So I decided to, as well. That makes me sound a bit shallow doesn't it? By the way, I'm lenting (is that a word?) baked cookies. So I can still enjoy chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Yum
On Wed. my friend Jessica took me to a SCA meeting. (Society of Creative
Anachronism) And some people there started to teach me to fence. It was so awesome! Got my butt kicked many times but I've started to check out this whole SCA thing. Seems pretty cool. I'm still sore from it but I'm going next week as well. So we'll see how it goes.
Ps. toe is still broken, doing karate on it kind of sucks, although I did pass my belt test, yay!

*Snow, Gummi Bears, and a broken toe *
As I am typing, it's so snowing heavily outside, we're talking blizzard going on. I went home for the weekend and my parents took me and my twin back to college we stopped at the movies (1 dollar movies yay) We went and saw Haunted Manison (very funny by the way) and when we get out it was snowing massively outside. IT wasn't calling for snow at ALL! So I get dropped over at the main campus to finish some work at the computer lab but I forgot church was tonight so the computer lab was closed. (one of the downfalls of attending a Christian University) So I treaked it back to my dorm (1 mile away) on a broken toe.
I broke my toe last Thursday during karate class. It's all pretty colors now, purples, reds, and a lot of in betweens. I was sparring with another girl and we both kicked each other at the same time, breaking my toe. It really hurts but now I can walk on it some. It's wrapped to another toe of mine. There's really nothing you can do with a broken toe.
I'm contemplating going out in the snow again. I have to get my homework done. But I dont' want to go out. There might be no school tomorrow, but there probably will be. Eating almost an entire bag of gummi bears doesn't help either.

How do you like the template? Pretty cool, huh? Anyway, I'm sitting here trying to ignore the soreness of my rear. I should be writing my research paper on the beginnings of writing. It's only two page, simple for a writer, right? Aparently, wrong. I've been writing for an hour and a half and only have one page done! Blah Blah Blah.
I do have an excuse, sort of. I'm dead tired even after a two hour nap. I went to the midnight showing of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King with my dorm. It was awesome, we got there at 10:30 and waited there till midnight talking with some girls I know. We got to some trailers like for the next Harry Potter movie and Spiderman 2. I can't wait to see them both! MJ's new boyfriend is Jamerson's son I bet. I'm not sure yet. Anyway, I didn't get back till 4 am. It was great! but now I'm tired. Not good combination. I only have two exams to do.
Oh and I move into my new dorm tomorrow. 33-6 and the elevator is broken, so I'm not sure how much is actually going to get moved in. Well that's about it for now!
